I love San Francisco, most days. Wait, what?? Did I really just say that? 😀
If you know me or have followed my blog for some time (or even a short time, really), you’d know that I’m crazy about SF. The countless beaches, the breathtaking scenery, the “whatever goes” culture, the list goes on! As with all good things, however, San Francisco has its drawbacks. In the summer, the fog, which never clears in the part of the city where I live, can leave you feeling glum and chilled to the bone. Thankfully we’ve finally seen some blue skies the past few days- I even got to sit at the beach for the first time in two months yesterday!
The biggest “frustration” I’ve had living in SF while blogging is how insanely windy it gets in the afternoon when the fog starts rolling in. I’ll be honest, most days I just roll with it (pun intended!), but it really got to me this particular afternoon and I may or may not have let out an exasperated sigh and claimed that I wanted to move to SoCal. You better believe that feeling went away as soon as I was driving home and crested the top of a particularly steep hill and saw the bright blue water of the bay twinkling in front of me 🙂
I had forgotten about this black and white bandana, until the other day, when I was rummaging through my closet and found it stuffed inside one of my bags. The last time I wore it I tied in a jaunty knot, but this time I went for a sleeker, more streamlined style by folding it over and knotting it in the back. I have no idea if bandanas are still “in”, but I want to pick up a few more colors to have some fun!
