As many of you know, I take the majority of my blog photos myself with a tripod.
Living in the city, I never get a quiet spot to take photos, so I’m used to having people ask me what I’m doing with two tripods (I always say I’m doing a project for school, even though I’m not a student :P) and even the occasional person offering their help. This past weekend was pure bliss because I went to take photos at the campus of San Francisco State University during summer intersession, so there wasn’t a soul in sight! I got to set my tripod up all over the place and get creative with my shots- I wish it could be that way every time!
I was thinking it would be cool to do a blog tutorial on how I take my outfit photos with a tripod, what do you guys think? It’s definitely more involved than just using a self-timer since DSLRs don’t autofocus on a person when it’s on self-timer- resulting in all sorts of blurry photos! I feel like it could be helpful for all you bloggers out there who want the freedom to photograph your outfits without relying on someone else all the time, or even just for you readers who want to be able to take high-quality self-portraits 🙂 Let me know in the comments!
